11 years ago, we didn't know we were already so called "bestfriends". It just suddenly came out through our classmates since whenever neither I nor she was absent during classes, we were always asked about each other's whereabouts. Anyways, I find it amusing and never even thought it was the best thing that ever happened. :)

But did you know were quite the opposite? I actually now believe that opposites do really attract. I was the outspoken one while she was the silent type. I love talking and she loves to listen. 

Yet sometimes be careful when she says nothing. She will hear your side first, that's for sure. But if it's her turn to talk, just shut your mouth and listen up if you don't wanna leave being speechless. :) 

I think, best friends have the same characteristics. They just have the best understanding of their differences. Sa? 

Her name is Joanna Crave Decrepito. 

She showed me nothing but the best and also deserved to have my best. 

She's my troubleshooter. My human diary. My person. My best friend. My bdai. 

Friends do come and go,

but she was the only person who stayed and never left.

And I thank God for that.

She's the smartest person I have ever met yet the dullest when it comes to love. (Truth. She even confirms that, trust me) 

Bdai, today is a special day. I wanna say I don't think I have ever connected with another human the way I have with you. When I am with you, I am who I am. I was never afraid to show the real me because you were always and will always be there who never and will never judged. You make things okay. No one else can do that for me, but you.

If nothing else, I hope you know that I love you with every ounce of my being. I hope you realize your importance not only to me but to everyone who has been lucky enough to know you. I hope you know that when you're feeling down, I only ever strive for your happiness. I hope you remember that no matter what, I'm here for you and I fully intend on staying in your life for quite sometime. I hope you recognize the fact that I appreciate and adore you without restraints, and that this will never ever changed.

These Broken Hands of Mine

I feel like an empty soul.
Please save me from this abyss of emptiness.

It was just a sudden thing. I always feel the same thing as this even before but today was different. I can no longer think properly. I even told someone I was depressed. They said, change your mindset and everything will fall into places. Indeed. But the difference is that my mindset was too low. So low like super down below sea level. Ive been praying a lot these days. Is this kind of feeling still healthy? Isn't it?

Its been a year and a half now since Ive been away from home. Though, I went for vacation for like 6 weeks and spent time most of my days with family, friends and of course my baby (not literally a child, if you know what I mean.)

Whats wrong with me? I feel so empty.

I am lost.

Advices please.

Unforgotten

I know it has been such a long time since I have updated this blog. I missed blogging too. I miss half of my favorite hobby since I was too focused on my work right now which is of course, taking care of patients. And aside from that, I just had my new laptop so, i thought it would be the longest time that I wont be able to update this.

Anyhow, its never forgotten and I still love talking to my readers. :) 

Someone sent me message like 3 weeks ago that she keeps stalking this blog, waiting if there would be any medical news or updates I can update. (Thanks to you girl, for sure Im gonna update very soon and thank you for waiting patiently. You are such an inspiration to me to continue things that was almost forgotten but was never forgotten)

I can't wait to update now na (haha!)

Each one of us have their own perspectives on defining their friends. Just like the saying, "tell me who your friends are and I will tell you who you are", but friendship isn't about whom you've known the longest. Some people come into our lives and quickly go while others stay and leave footprints in our hearts and we are never the same. 

Friendship is all about trusting each other, loving each other and being crazy together.

Things You Should Know Before Dating a Nurse

It feels just like yesterday when we said hello to the 1^st day of the 1^st month of 2016, and now, it’s almost February. And now that the so-called love month is fast approaching, let’s talk about nurse’s love lives, or more specifically, their “dating” lives. So, the tough people you see wearing white in the hospital while caring for others also date. Yes, you’ve got it right, date. So, *coughs* does that mean you get a chance to date that cute nurse you always see at the emergency department? But wait, first things first, what are the things you need to know before dating a nurse? 

We have the grossest stories about each part of the body you can imagine.

 

Don’t go telling us jokes that you think will gross us out and expect us to run for the hills, ‘cause with all the yucky scenarios we face at the hospital almost every day, there is only a small list of things that would lead us wrinkling our nose in disgust. We’ve seen it all, buddy. Wanna know the some of our stories, or are you tough enough to listen to them.

Work friends = Family

Considering the amount of time we spend at the hospital, facing stressful and sometimes even life-changing events, it’s no wonder our colleagues and coworkers have turned into what we consider as a second family. Please don’t go talking ill about them just because you’re pissed at something they did, or even for hating them for us spending more time with them (working) than we do with you. You hurt them, you hurt us, too.

We have long hours at work

We might not see each other as often as we like, but please bear with us. Our work requires a great amount of time spent with patients, helping them recover. We do shift works and there will be times when we’ll only just be prepping for work, while you just got off yours. Yup, schedule conflicts, lots of them, are you up for those?

We LOVE coffee

Who doesn’t? Especially in our line of work wherein we should be alert at all times. Coffee keeps us awake during a long night shift. We just couldn’t function without a cup of it to start the day. So, yeah, better start stacking up coffee supplies.

We may seem tough on the outside, but on the inside, we also human

We can seem too tough to others considering how we handle stressful situations in the clinical area, but also remember that we are humans, too. We are only tough on the outside, but on the inside, we feel deeply and are kind, too. We’ve got big hearts and we do have a lot of love to give.

We need caring, too

In the hospital, we’re the ones providing care to patients, running around accomplishing nursing tasks and many more, yes, we are the modern-day wonder women/wonder men. But at the end of the long and toxic day, we need caring, too. We need someone to care for us, to always be there for us, and to offer support and comfort even when it looks like we don’t need any.

Let's Talk About Love

Alright. Let's talk about love. Since it's Love month, let me give a shot on this article. I apologize if I have used my face there above. 

When you are inspired, to a person, things, even songs, a lot of emotions are flowing through your veins then into your brain, and then of course, would pass and stay in your heart. 

Okay, let's say I am inspired today so let's talk about love. What do you know and how do you deeply understand what is love? I mean I know, most of you reading this article already have special someone on their lives. 

Love is a variety of different feelings, states, and attitudes that ranges from interpersonal affection. It can also be refer to an emotion of a strong attraction and personal attachment. It can even be a virtue representing human kindness, compassion and affection.

But I wanna talk more about the most interesting of all. The interpersonal love.

I have experienced loving someone who doesn't even mine, someone who doesn't love me back and even someone who doesn't know I exist. Through that experience, It made me realize love doesn't exist. I suddenly became a love hater. But as what they always say, don't say words as if it's last. Coz, you might just swallow everything what you have said. But everything really happens for a reason especially about love. When I met the one special person, who were my friend and later on became my boyfriend, he accepted me for who I am. Saw every darkest side of me yet still there stood up for me even he have soooo many reasons of giving up. He was my lakhy man. 

But when time came that change governed, it also made me lost everything. Memories were shattered. I actually dunno what really happened. I dunno why it turned out like that.

Choosing the person that you want to share your life with is one of the most decisions any of us makes. Ever. 

Because when it's wrong, turns your life into gray and sometimes, sometimes you don't even notice until you wake up one morning and realized he has gone by.

Yet sometimes, If it's already destiny and probably God made a way for you to be together, then you are very lucky. that's the time you could say you really are meant to be. 

Once in a while, you don't see that the best thing that is happened to you is sitting right there on your nose. But that's fine too. It really is. Because I've realized that no matter where you are, or what you're doing or who you with, I will always love you. Always. 

Advance Happy Valentines Day everyone. :) I just wrote today coz i can't predict my work on Valentines day so maybe I'll just advance writing this one.  Enjoy and thank You for spending your time reading this one. :)

New Year. New You. Happy 2016!

Today is the first blank page of your 365 page book. The new year stands before us, like a chapter in a book, waiting to be written. 

Look to this day for it is life. In it's brief course lie all the realities and truths of existence; the joy of growth, the splendor of action and of course, the glory of power. For yesterday is but a memory, and tomorrow is only a vision. But today, well lived makes every yesterday a memory of happiness. And every tomorrow is a vision of hope.

 Look well, therefore to this day, live for today! :)

Happy happy New Year everyone! Oh well, since I am a working human being and no exception for being absent on spending a special occasion, I spent my first ever New Year's Eve on bathing, giving medications to patients who also needs care and love. Char.

But of course, we can't celebrate New Year without fun? It was still a blast because I spent it with the new found friends and God granted my wish to control the busy shifts which happens everyday.

 Dear God,

Thank you for granting my wish today. Please bless us more everyday and give us strength to do our duty with passion and motivation. I know you are always there watching us work. Please don't get tired of giving us blessings and of course, listening to my dramas over and over again. Please bless my family Oh God. I can't live without them. Each one of us can't. We work for our family. Please give them strength and happiness for us to have more courage and inspiration to work hard and live happy even without their physical presence. 

Today is a brand new day and I promise Oh God to do my best as I can everyday and to glorify. I want to make sure Oh God that I spent time loving you and loving other people because that's what life is all about. I don't want to waste this day. Please bless my new family and friends here abroad Lord God because we only have each others back whenever we feel lonely and blue. I thank you for giving them and I want to be the best for them as well. Thank you God for everything. :)
