Short Girls are Awesome Girlfriends

Yes, I am short... but I LOVED IT!! There is always a time when guys stop and ponder over the thought of dating a short girl...and this very thought drives them toward girls like us. And believe me dating a short girl proves to be beneficial. Now, if you feel good about it, you should go to my sage words.

1. THEY ARE ADORABLE & SEXY.

Short girls are undoubtedly adorable. She looks adorable when she is angry. Remember Modern Family Phil Dumphy Phil's-osophy "Marry someone who looks sexy when disappointed". Short girls look sexy and adorable even during fight, which is why dating is fun.

2. THEY ARE ALWAYS YOUNG & LOOK FLAWLESS.

Everyone will think you are 17 even when you are 25. Short girls never grow old.
SHORTNESS = YOUTHFUL

 3. THEY CAN EVEN SHOP IN KIDS SECTION.

The amusing thing on dating a short girl is that she can shop in kids section. ^^

4.  THEY WILL STAY LONGER WITH YOU.

Evidence suggests that short people love longer. So, if you are dating a short girl, she will be with you don't worry. ^^

5. THEY WILL NOT LET YOU SPEND MORE MONEY ON FOOD.

It's scientifically proven that smaller person requires less energy to live. Short girls will save your money as their stomach will be filled up fast.

6. IT FEELS CUTE TO KISS A SHORT GIRL.

Kissing someone who is shorter is cute specially when they stand on their toes to kiss you.^^

7. THEY ALWAYS SAVE TIME.

You two can save time by sharing the mirror together while dressing up. ^_^

8. YOU CAN MAKE HER WEAR HIGH HEELS

Short girl can wear high heels without the fear of being tall over her guy.

9. THEY ARE EASIER TO PICK AND MOVE.

A great thing about a short girl is that you can take them around like a trophy. You can pick them up with ease and take them wherever you want.

10. IT IS ALWAYS AWESOME TO HUG THEM

Who doesn't like hugging a short girl? When their head stops right below your chin and you can kiss her on her forehead. ^^

She DESERVES it! (MY POV)

#PBBAllIn

Pinoy Big Brother,  a reality game show that consists a group of people dubbed as "Housemates" living in a specially constructed large house. During the time in the house, they are isolated from the outside world and are not commonly aware of outside events. These contestants are continuously monitored by in-house television cameras as well as personal audio microphones during their stay. Each series lasts for more than three months, with at least ten contestants entering the house. And to win the final cash prize, a contestant must survive the periodic evictions and be the last housemate in the compound by the series conclusion.

For the past seasons of the show, I've never been too emotionally involved with regards about the housemates. I couldn't refrain my self from cursing in front of my television specially when one housemate has been back stab and she/he didn't know anything about it. I always feel so damn frustrated whenever they talk and wouldn't say anything with regards about their issue with that housemate.

Now, there's that one housemate remarkably imprinted in my mind. She was a celebrity who at first, unnoticed and the cameras inside the house is literally not concentrating on her. She is also a human who needs money just like anyone else, (even though she started working at an early age for her family, she was an artist.)

The fact that she was a celebrity, everyone thinks she doesn't need money, nor doesn't need fame and  doesn't even need to join the big brother house. Everyone thinks she's a player just because she's an artist. Everybody says she really is an artist.

But just because she's an artist, doesn't mean she doesn't deserve to be hailed as the big winner. Of all the housemates lived there, she was the only one who constantly showed the people who she really is and even if no one wants to be friends with her (because she's mostly misunderstood) she showed them that she will never give up, which in fact,  a sign of a big winner.

There's another. He is also a celebrity. He is amazingly gorgeous and very famous but even then, he showed the people that he does 100% in every task given to them. He gave up everything just to join the big brother house. Family, friends, Brazil.. He keeps on saying the people don't have any idea what he had sacrifice for where he is now. And definitely, also deserves to be a big winner.

Now, there are only 6 left.

Who are you gonna vote for?

For Me?

You already know who they are. :)

Why Engineers Make the Best Boyfriends/Husbands

Ladies, let's face it. It seems that there really are slim pickings out there when it comes to finding the perfect boyfriend, and eventually the perfect husband. Forget the losers you dated in High School and the frat boys from college and even the sleazy professionals from your first jobs in the real world. What you're looking for, my friends, is a man who's an engineer.

Hear me out - there are tons of jobs out there where guys bring loads of dough and can shower you with diamonds and fancy cars and lavish dinners on the town and put you up in swanky high-rise apartments (Whew, I better stop before my mind gets out of control with this!) But how many of those guys actually care about you, too? Not many.

That's why you need an engineer. Actually, here are 7 slightly more specific reasons why you need an engineer.

They Make Good Money

OK. It's no secret that engineers make incredible money. And what girl isn't looking for a little sugar in here and there? But what sets the engineers apart from the rest of these high-power, high money positions is that they won't get overboard with showing off their bling.

Engineers tend to stay humble about their money, but still want to spoil the heck out of you. It's the perfect balance, really!

They Have a Stable job

The American economy has always needed engineers and they always will. On top of that, a 27 year old former engineering student probably has a few good, solid years of experience under his belt at that point, versus a law student who's probably still going to school and will be paying off school loans for the rest of his life.

No, an engineer has a steady job straight out of college, and they don't require an obscene amount of school. That means more time for you. Yay!

They're Freakin' Smart

How sick and tired are you of going on dates with lame-o guys who don't know how to carry on a good, intelligent conversation? I, for one, have had it up to here with those guys ( as I reached up over my head - here!) I want to go on a date with a man who knows how to talk to me and is sometimes even willing to debate me and discuss important topics - y'know, other that shoes and purses and clothes and everything else that's important to me.

Engineers are great for that - But they also won't overpower you with the smartness. They'll still love to hear about your latest shopping spree, too, I'm sure. (Translation: they're smart, but laid back, too.)

They Work Hard to Understand you

Engineers make very sure in their day-to-day lives to fully understand their tasks at hand. You are just another task for him to accomplish, so he will do everything in his power to work to understand you and learn how to make you happy.

When he figures out what works, he'll store it as a "formula" in his head and remember that it makes you happy - and he will continue to repeat it while making tiny variations each time so you're still on your toes. It's a wonderful  and exciting happiness!

They're Dedicated

Did you, or do you know any engineering students in school? Did you ever see them out at parties, or were they always at the library with their nose in a book?

Engineers are naturally dedicated to their profession, and the dedication usually carries over into other aspects of their lifestyles - like going to the gym and paying attention to you. That's a win-win right there. A guy who's in shape and totally dedicated to his girlfriend and his successful career? YES, PLEASE!

They're too Busy to Cheat

As if the dedication factor were not already enough, add into equation the fact that they often have crazy project deadlines to meet and rarely have much free time, and you have yourself a cheat-proof boyfriend/husband.

Don't let the time stuff scare you, though - yes, they're busy but they will always find time for you. They are great time managers.

They'll do all the Handy Work

Whether you own a house or live in an apartment, when something goes wrong, who do you call to fix it? Do you shell out money to the pros when there's a crack in your floor or the pipes under your sink burst? What about when something goes wrong with one of your outlets? Do you know how to fix this problems yourself?

Let's be honest - most of us dont, and that's why we usually have to call in the pros. But when you have an engineer for a boyfriend, you have a built in handy man. He's smart enough to figure all all that tough stuff out, and he won't charge you (EXCEPT for maybe a hug or a kiss which you should give him anyway!)

5 Things You Can Do Now to Avoid Alzheimer's Disease

Talk about scary: Though rare, early-onset Alzheimer's can begin as early as your '30s and '40s. And this can include everything from forgetting things that are important or getting lost in a familiar place to having difficulty managing money, according to Richard B. Lipton, M.D., a neurologist at Montefiore Medical Center in New York.

But if you occasionally forget your wedding anniversary, don't freak out. Only 5% of Alzheimer's cases -- about five million Americans over age 65 have the disease according to the National Institute on Aging -- are early-onset and they're usually genetic. Even better: Research has also found that adopting healthy habits now may significantly reduce your risk for developing it later. Here are a few recommended steps you can take:

No Junk Food Sign

1. Ditch the Junkfood! - Clear out the junk and stock up on more whole foods. Dr. Lipton suggests following a Mediterranean-style diet full of fish, fruits, and vegetables loaded with antioxidants, whole grains, and olive oil. He also advises taking a daily dose of 1,000 milligrams of vitamin D3.

2. Get Moving. You should probably dust your sneakers off. Gary Small, M.D., director of the UCLA Longevity Center, says the vast amount of research has come to the same conclusion: Exercise can protect your brain. In his book, The Alzheimer's Prevention Program, he cites a study that included an additional finding. A 2010 report from the ongoing Framingham Longitudinal Study found that daily brisk walks led to a 40% lower chance of getting Alzheimer's. Don't love walking? Find something you do like and get your heart rate up regularly.

3. Take Care of Your Heart. High blood pressure and high cholesterol, both of which can destroy your arteries and cause heart disease, heart attack, and stroke, have been linked to Alzheimer's. In a postmortem study of Alzheimer's patients, 80% of those patients examined had cardiovascular disease, according to Alzheimer's Association.

4. Maintain a Healthy Weight. If you're eating well and exercising regularly, this should be attainable, and it's an important goal to set. Being overweight doubles your risk of developing Alzheimer's, says Dr. Small. Being obese quadruples it. And here's the double-whammy: Being overweight ups your odds for type 2 diabetes. That, in turn, doubles your chances of getting Alzheimer's, Dr. Small says. Stack the deck in your favor and aim for an average weight.

5. Play Brain Games. These are great because they stimulate your memory centers to keep your brain sharp. "Use it or lose it," says neuropsychologist Thomas Harding Psy.D., author of You Can Prevent Alzheimer's! The further you get from high school and college, the less often you use that part of your brain, according to Dr. Harding. So, you have to make brain games part of your routine. "Research has yet to determine how much and how often is optimal, but like anything else you are good at, the more often you do it, the better you are at it."

If you don't want to play online brain games (we really like Memory Matrix, Word Bubbles, and Speed Match), Dr. Lipton suggests some low-tech options: crossword puzzles, chess, writing for pleasure, or even having a lively discussion. Whatever engages you, just have fun!
